Your UWA Login ties your UWA ID together with a password, which can then be used to access a multitude of services on and off campus, without the need for re-authentication.

  • Password Expiry Notification - Passwords have a set expiry date, and you will be reminded to change your password in advance of expiration

How do I get it:

On commencement with UWA, your account will automatically be created once one of the following criteria has been met:

  • Staff: Human Resources processes your commencement of employment.
  • Students: Student Administration processes your enrollment.
  • Visitors: Student Administration processes your visitor application.
Once your UWA ID has been created, you can then activate your account via Pheme.

Standard University business hours; Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Prerequisites:

Depending on your relationship to the university, one of the following prerequisites must be met:

  • Staff: You must have an active appointment
  • Students: You must have an active enrollment
  • Visitors: You must have an active account

Service Hours

Standard University business hours; Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. Tickets may be lodged at any time via self service or email.

All scheduled maintenance and outage windows will be advised ahead of time.

Commitments

Individual staff, students and visitors will

  • Not share or divulge their password to others
  • Report any issues to their local IT support group
  • Reset temporary passwords the same day of issue
  • Provide support staff with identifying information such as your date of birth or challenge question and answer
  • Refer to our information on Phishing Scams if you have any concerns about email communications relating to your password

Local IT support groups will:

  • Assist staff, students and visitors with password reset and account activation queries
  • Escalate tickets to the BI&TS Service Desk as required

Business Information & Technology Services (BI&TS) will:

  • Never ask for your password
  • Issue temporary passwords for staff and visitors during business hours
  • Ensure the availability of the service
  • Advise of any unscheduled service interruptions
