Digital Signage provides UWA Student Services with an easy method of broadcasting news, communications and advertisements in public areas.

By providing a central content management solution for digital displays, UWA's student facing areas are able to broadcast notifications and communications to one or more displays around campus, allowing for both coordinated and targeted news, communication and promotional campaigns across student-facing areas.

Commitments

Individual Staff and Students will:

  • Report any damage or problems with Digital Signage to Student Services
  • Report any inaccuracies or issues with the content displayed on digital signs to Student Services
  • Contact the Administrator to request changes to the deployment arrangements for digital signage

Student Services will:

  • Manage the content displayed on signs installed in their areas
  • Report any issues relating to the underlying infrastructure supporting digital signage to BI&TS
  • Provide funding for the ongoing operation of Digital Signage, including licensing and ongoing infrastructure costs related to the service
  • Report any issues not related to BI&TS infrastructure to the product vendor
  • Manage the ongoing relationship between UWA & the product vendor

Business Information & Technology Services (BI&TS) will:

  • Respond to tickets logged by Student Services relating to issues with BI&TS infrastructure
  • Ensure the availability of the underlying infrastructure
